Wow! That is amazing. I didn't give up a damned thing. Even as a former Catholic of tarnished glory, I usually gave something up -- one Lent I gave up alcohol! I only broke it once -- after Heather and I saw Hotel Rwanda. I never need a beer so much as after watching that film. This year, nada. I have given up enough (and the party isn't even started yet).

I love the purge process. Well, not the process but the rewards afterward. I've been on one, too, and can now see 70% of my "studio" floor. Squee!
